Rogers Group, Inc. is a growing company with core businesses in crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt, and highway construction. The company employs over 1,500 people in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama. We are currently seeking an Asphalt Paving Superintendent for our Arkansas operation based in Conway, AR. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence.

The position will report to the Area Construction Manager and will be responsible for:
 

• Developing, monitoring and executing the project plan and schedule;
• Managing multiple crews performing asphalt paving on DOT, county/city and private projects;
• Resource coordination: equipment, labor, supplies and subcontractors;
• Planning and implementing construction means/methods, schedules, productivity innovations, and site logistics;
• Monitoring cost control, quality reporting, forecasting, productivity, and safety on the project;
• On-site coordination of manpower, materials and equipment;
• Organizing and co-coordinating all subcontractor activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of in a management role in base and pave operations, required.
• 5+ years of hands on field experience in base and pave operations, required.
• Accomplished record of building asphalt paved roads, particularly DOT projects.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
• Skilled in running all aspects of an asphalt construction operation, including equipment and processes.
• A demonstrated ability to schedule and manage multiple projects and crews.
