Duratek Precast Technologies, Inc. is a fast growing manufacturer and installer of precast building components for a multitude of applications including commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Currently Duratek has a career opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector at our Bartow, FL manufacturing facility.

 

Major Responsibilities / Activities

1. Perform Quality Control pre-pour and post-pour inspections of pre-cast production.

2. Perform and oversee the inspections and testing as assigned by the QC Manager

3. Verification of compliance of materials and supplies received: observation of concrete placement and product shipment

4. Performs material testing and sampling included in the scope of ACI Grade 1.

5. Assists with production layouts as needed.

6. Ensure quality control policies and procedures are followed. Incorporate lean philosophy into procedures.

7. Maintain accurate records

8. Provide expertise in area of improving product quality.

9. Be able to understand the QC plan and any contract or FDOT specifications as it relates to concrete.
 

Must hold the following valid certifications:

ACI Concrete Field and Laboratory Testing Technician Grade 1

FDOT Concrete Field and Lab Technician Level 1

 

Experience:

2 years or more of concrete or aggregate testing experience required

 

Physical requirements:

Able to climb to heights of 15 feet

Able to lift 50 lbs.
