PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for providing oversight to project carpentry crews. Coordinate, implement and supervise all self- performed work


COMPENSATION
The base compensation range for this role is $59.07* .

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
A.   Ensure proper IWP is in place and understood by their crew
B.   Examine blueprints to determine dimensions of structure
C.   Lay out floor-plan and cabinetwork using tape, framing square and calipers
D.   Select materials and structural units, such as lumber, prefabricated doors, cabinets of wood or plastic, paneling, and 
      inspects them to ensure conformance with provisions of building code and local ordinance
E.   Determine sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly and erection of structure
F.   Assign workers to such tasks as cutting material to size, building concrete forms, erecting wooden framework, and  
                laying flooring
G.   Inspect work performed by subcontractors including ductwork, wiring and pipe installations, to ensure conformance         with specifications
H.   Install doors, builds stairs and lays hardwood floors
      Shooting grades and elevations
I.                  Unload, handle, stockpile and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
J.   Concrete and rough carpentry:
1.   Hand set walls
2.   Footings
3.   Set gang wall forms
4.   Structural concrete decks
5.   Slab on metal deck and grade
6.   Concrete columns
7.   Drywall
K.   Finish carpentry, doors and hardware
1.   Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware
2.   Finish carpentry: install toilet accessories, hand rails, corner guards, toilet partitions, lockers, upper cabinets, lower cabinets, 
             countertops, wall paneling systems, coffered ceiling systems and running  trim
L.   Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
M.   Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
N.   All other duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
A.   Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
B.   Ability to picture solid objects from drawings or diagrams
C.   Some ability to read plans
D.   Ability to operate equipment such as: table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection 
                equipment, rigging and form systems
E.   Strong teamwork orientation
F.   Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
G.   Detail orientation
H.   Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


A.   High school diploma or GED
B.   Completion of apprentice program
C.   Minimum of five years of related experience

*Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.
