Job-Specific Insights This position will be responsible for the following:
Developing structural engineering standards, design guidelines and other technical documents in support of bridge and other structural designs.
Providing statewide technical guidance to structural design engineers and others when established standard structural designs cannot be used, and to conduct research to provide resolution of unusual design problems during the design stage or construction.
Designing and analyzing complex structural elements with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and sound engineering principles.
