Bryant Structures, Inc. is a heavy-highway bridge contractor located in Toano, VA. We are currently looking for team-oriented bridge crew members including form carpenters, carpenter helpers, pile drivers, and crane operators to work on bridge projects in the Hampton Roads area.  We are seeking motivated, dedicated, and dependable employees to work in our family-oriented organization.

Responsibility of Bridge Form Carpenter or Carpenter Helper:

• Building and setting wood and metal gang forms for concrete pours
• Plumbing and aligning 100' long side forms for pier footers and caps
• Using hand-held power tools, hammer, wrenches, concrete saws, jackhammers, etc.
• Wearing a respirator while performing concrete demolition tasks such as jackhammering, chipping, grinding to protect against silica exposure 

Responsibility of Pile Driver:

• Safely rig concrete and steel piles to hoist them into a preset template system.
• Flag the crane operator to position the pile hammer over the pile
• Drive the pile to grade as provided by foreman or supervisor
• Safely rig and drive sheet piles using vibratory hammer

Responsibility of Crane Operator:

• Ability to safely operator large crawler cranes including Kobelco CK850, CK1600, CK2000, CK2750, and Link Belt LS-248LV
• Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) NCCCO License Required
• Concrete pile driving experience preferred

Prerequisite of all applicants:

• Complying with the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing ladders, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to Commute:  Reliable transportation required
• Valid Driver's license required

Compensation varies with level of experience. Full-time employees are eligible to receive benefits including medical, dental, vacation, 401k retirement, and profit sharing.

Salary: $19.00 to $36.00 /hour

Overtime Pay = 1.5 times hourly rate for over 40 hours per week
