Position Summary
The Building Crew Assembler works as part of a team to assemble, erect, and complete modular metal
structures including wall systems, roofs, door and window installations, and interior build-outs. This role
combines mechanical assembly, light welding, and field installation work. Ideal candidates are
detail-oriented, comfortable with tools and shop equipment, and take pride in producing high-quality
finished products.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble and erect modular metal buildings, generator enclosures, and E-houses according to
engineered drawings.
• Install wall and roof panels, insulation, doors, windows, and hardware.
• Perform light welding and fitting work as required (training provided).
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and standard fabrication tools safely.
• Follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions with precision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with team leads and project managers regarding progress and quality.
• Assist with rigging and loading for shipment or field installation as needed.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in metal building assembly, modular structures, or industrial fabrication
preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measurements.
• Experience using hand tools, impact guns, grinders, and basic welding equipment.
• Forklift experience (certification preferred).
• Strong work ethic and teamwork attitude.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or platforms.
