Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Start Date: June 30, 2026 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Duration: Temporary (a few months) Location: Missoula, MT
Job Description Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Carpenter / General Laborer to join our team for residential construction projects. This position involves hands-on work in building, repairing, and maintaining residential structures. The ideal candidate has prior construction experience, a strong work ethic, and takes pride in showing up ready to work each day.
Responsibilities
Assist with residential construction tasks including framing, finishing, and general carpentry work
Operate basic hand and power tools safely
Perform general labor duties such as material handling, site cleanup, and assisting the owner
Follow project instructions and maintain a safe, organized job site
Work as part of a team to complete projects on time
Requirements
Previous construction or carpentry experience required
Must be reliable and show up consistently and on time
Ability to commute to job sites
Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
Basic knowledge of tools and construction practices
