About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to residential carpentry, including installation, repair, and site preparation.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Site Cleaning & Protection & Setup: Prepare work areas by setting up safety barriers, protecting surfaces, and maintaining a clean job site.
  • Pick Up & Delivery of Materials: Transport materials to and from job sites to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Mid-Size Work: Install windows, insulation, exterior and interior doors, exhaust vent pipes, skylights, sun tunnels, and casing.
  • Excavation: Assist with minor excavation tasks when necessary for construction and remodeling projects.
  • Fixing, Repairing & Alteration: Perform repairs and alterations on existing structures to meet specifications.
  • Punch List Fix: Address and resolve any final adjustments or repairs required on completed work.
  • Warranty Work: Complete necessary warranty-related tasks promptly and professionally.
  • Office & Miscellaneous: Assist with administrative duties as needed, including scheduling and maintaining job site logs.
     

Requirements:

  • Legal to Work: Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (W2 vs. W9 status, depending on employment classification).
  • Driving: A valid driver’s license with a good driving record; must be able to drive and transport materials.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of residential carpentry experience, with a focus on hands-on skills in construction and remodeling.
  • Tool Proficiency: Ability to effectively use all common hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to carpentry.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders safely.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English-speaking skills for clear communication with the team.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in carpentry or related field.
  • Previous experience with residential and light commercial construction projects.
  • Can do MEP
