Overview

The Local Truck Driver Class A will operate within 100 mi of Hammond, LA making about 6-8 routes per shift, picking up and delivering 53' dry vans and pallets containing pallets; 100% no touch freight; flat bed require strapping, no tarp.

• Tractors are automatics 


• Trailers are 53' dry van and flat beds


• Must have prior experience pulling flat beds

Requirements

• Minimum age of 23


• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years


• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle


• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician


• Has not ever been disqualified to drive


• Can successfully complete a DOT road test


• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years. Any score above 10 will require approval from the 48forty Solutions Team


• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years


• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
