About the Company:
Our client is a 400+ million dollar specialty subcontractor located in the greater Washington DC area. We have been retained to assist them with the selection of their Chief Financial Officer.
About the Position:
This person will be responsible for overall financial management, strategic planning, ESOP valuation, potential M&A activity, IT, along with oversight of a team of 25 -30. List of responsibilities involve but not limited to
• Responsible for all Accounting, and Financial,
• Responsible for External relationships
• Manage the annual Financial Audit.
• Assist the ESOP valuation team in their annual analysis of the ESOP value.
• Overall responsibility for the timely content and presentation of the monthly Financial Reports
• Presents monthly/quarterly results to the Fiduciary Board of Directors with analysis of key areas of strengths and weaknesses
• Monitor Accounts Receivable collections with the appropriate manager, including requisitions and under billings
• Provide interface between the Financial Department and Field Operations
• Overall management of all financial and IT staff (including organizational planning and budgeting)
• Surety, Insurance
• Assist in the preparation of the annual overhead budget
• Manages the preparation of financial information regarding all M&A activity in which the company may be involved.
• Assist the Employee Engagement Manager to manage employee benefit plans
Requirements:
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration MBA preferred but not mandatory
• Accomplished Business Leader
• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
• Must possess highly technical accounting skills referencing
• our industry.
• Analytical thinking, acting and reacting.
• Minimum of 20 years Financial Accounting and Management experience within the Construction or Real Estate industries. Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not required.
