CNC Press Brake Foreman / Supervisor (1st Shift)

A high-quality, precision sheet metal fabricator is seeking a qualified Foreman / Supervisor to lead our 1st Shift CNC Press Brake team. This leadership role is perfect for an experienced operator ready to step up, or an established supervisor looking for a great company.

This is a full-time position inside our 125,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility, conveniently located between Reading and Allentown.

Shift Schedule:

• Hours: 1st Shift runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the 1st shift CNC Press Brake operators.
• Training & Mentorship: Teach and train new operators on machine setups and safe practices.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts to ensure they meet exact specifications for the medical, telecommunications, security, and transportation sectors.
• Production Scheduling: Review blueprints and work orders to assign daily tasks to the team.
• Safety Enforcement: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all hydraulic press brake operations follow safety rules.

Qualifications:

• Strong Experience: Proven experience setting up and operating CNC hydraulic brake presses.
• Leadership Skills: Previous experience as a foreman, lead hand, or supervisor is highly preferred.
• Blueprint Expertise: Ability to read, interpret, and explain complex blueprints or work prints.
• Solid Math & Mechanical Skills: Strong aptitude for precision measuring and troubleshooting machine issues.
• Excellent Communication: Ability to give clear instructions, motivate a team, and take pride in high-quality work.
