Role Description

The Commercial Drywall Senior Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area (Posen). The position involves preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, reviewing construction drawings, and contributing to project planning for commercial drywall and ceilings builds. The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring project success through thorough analysis and clear communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Proficient skills in estimating commercial drywall and ceilings.
• Strong understanding of Quick Bid / OST (with no training required).
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• A background in construction management, architecture, or engineering is a plus.
• Must be a self-starter with positive energy.
