Traffic Management Solutions is a specialty contractor specializing in the installation of traffic signals, roadway lighting, overhead sign structures, and Intelligent Transportation Systems throughout Florida. We are currently seeking a qualified project manager to oversee projects located in Orlando, Florida. 

SCOPE OF WORK:
Project Manager is responsible for reviewing plans, specifications and developing submittal documents after a project has been awarded. Primary responsibility is managing the project from start through close out insuring it is completed within budget and contract time. The individual is also responsible for relaying information to the jobsite Superintendent, man power, communicating with General Contractors, ordering of material, processing of billing. The individual must have a strong understanding of electrical to effectively assist the Superintendent in building the project.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Involvement with designer during planning stages of design build projects. 
Ordering of material. Weekly production review and insuring proper time allocation to work items. 
Development, submitting and tracking of equipment/material shop drawings. 
Prepare detailed electrical take-offs from engineered plans.
Sending out detailed lighting, gear, and misc. take-offs to electrical vendors for quote. 
Prepare change order estimates to submit to General Contractor. 
Work with General Contractors to provide V.E. pricing when needed. 

COMPENSATION:
Position is Full time. Salary will be assessed on experience. Benefit packages, Paid Holiday and Vacation provided. 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

8 years’ minimum experience is required
Current Valid Driver’s License
Minimum High School Graduate, GED or equivalent. Degrees are preferred.
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Must work well with all other employees, vendors, general contractors etc.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft office, Excel, etc.
Must be able to accurately review and detail plan take-off for material acquisitions
Effective planner and well organized
