Project Superintendent - Civil Construction

Location: Canastota, NY
Pay: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday
Travel Required

Cedar Park Group is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join a leading environmental and civil construction company. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a hands-on leader who can oversee field operations, maintain a safe and productive job site, and deliver high-quality projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and supervise construction crews
• Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce company safety standards
• Coordinate equipment, manpower, and subcontractors
• Work closely with Project Managers to meet schedules and project milestones
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Track production, quantities, and project progress
• Identify potential change orders and communicate project needs
• Submit daily reports and weekly equipment utilization reports
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies throughout the project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent or Civil Construction Superintendent
• Experience managing civil construction or environmental remediation projects
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications
• Knowledge of GPS machine control and grade control systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Current OSHA certification (required)
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
• Willingness to travel
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, medical exam, and background check
