Company Overview

We are a small and quickly growing general contractor specializing in public works and municipal construction projects. We are looking to immediately hire an experienced Site Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations on active projects in the Columbia, SC area and surrounding region.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities from planning and mobilization to closeout
• Supervise subcontractors and self-performed work
• Coordinate inspections
• Enforce jobsite safety and quality control requirements
• Maintain schedules and periodic field reports
• Review plans, specs, RFIs, and field changes
• Resolve field issues and keep projects moving

Requirements

• Experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role
• Public works project experience preferred
• Ability to read and build from plans and specifications
• Valid driver's license
