Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Sr. Construction Planner/Scheduler to support a confidential Data Center Developer.

Note: This is a remote role but requires travel to multiple sites in TX and Midwest states as and when needed. Expect up to 50% travel

We are looking for a project controls expert who can masterfully navigate complex contractor schedules and drive the planning and scheduling process directly with the trade partners, subs, CMs and supers.

  • Employment Type: 1099 preferred (W-2 options available).

Your Responsibilities

  • Construction Planning: Lead Front-End Planning and facilitate Pull Planning sessions (a core requirement).
  • Schedule Management: Oversee and manage comprehensive contractor schedules, ensuring strict alignment with project milestones and owner's scheduling specifications.
  • Advanced Analysis: Perform rigorous schedule variance analysis.
  • LLE Coordination: Assist in strategic planning for Long Lead Equipment (LLE) and Required On-Job (ROJ) dates.
  • Schedule Integrity: Conduct detailed schedule quality checks and coordinate complex interdependencies and critical path validation.
  • Reporting: Manage all schedule-related reporting, providing clear visibility into project health and potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaboration: Review contractor progress and provide expert analysis to support the project leadership team.
  • Critical Path & Risk Monitoring: Highlight schedule risks early and recommend mitigation strategies

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 12-18 years of dedicated experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) and schedule quality metrics.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Communication: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and challenge contractor data effectively.
  • Focus: A specialized background in high-level planning and the ability to manage intricate, multi-phase schedules.
