JOB TITLE: Design & Sales Consultant - Remodeling

REPORTS TO:  VP of Renovations



To continually managing relationships with our customers from client outreach through to the conceptual to final design and construction of their project. Provide the necessary administrative support for all departments. In your role you will collaborate with clients to develop design ideas for their project, calculate budgets and price estimates, as well as select finishes. Preparing sales contracts, purchase orders and collecting deposits. This position will be responsible for consulting and following up with customers with design studio options and upgrade purchase process. Follow-up with customers, purchasing, and project managers regarding selections.

  • Three (3) years, minimum, residential construction experience in Design
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • High degree of construction knowledge
  • Resourcefulness, patience and clarity
  • Strong management and motivational skills
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiar with, and ability to read blueprints, and other home diagrams
  • Chief Architect, 20/20 or like software skills, are a plus
  • Excellent writing skills verbal and written
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong sense of color and design applications
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Available to adjust work schedule to accommodate customers availability for evenings or weekends
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Accepts constructive feedback
  • Team player.


  • This is an office and field position requiring driving. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry supplies and materials weighing 25 pounds or less.
  • Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and telephone equipment.
  • Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.
