About the Position:

We are looking for a Director - Battery Energy Storage Development (BESS) to help lead our client’s entry into Stand-Alone BESS development, a combination of Distributed and Utility-Scale BESS. Responsible for identifying and interfacing with utilities, customers, landowners, and other prospects to evaluate and secure new project opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry in the U.S., with direct experience in full life-cycle development of BESS projects
• Must have experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) engagement equipment procurement and have been through one or more successful project financing processes
• This role can be located in Arlington, Denver, or Southern California, but would also consider a hybrid model depending on the candidate.
