We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of high end residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and industry best practices. Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in large residential homes and commercial facilities using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints to accurately execute projects.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper system operation.
  • Work safely on construction sites by following all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage systems, including adherence to NEC standards.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable lighting control systems.
  • Conduct renovations by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry or maintenance person services to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.

Requirements

  • Valid Foreman Electrician must be Certified, and or
  • Demonstrated expertise with Residential and Commercial electrician tasks such as working with Lighting Control systems, Distribution equipment, schematics, high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), and NEC compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
  • Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining safety standards.
  • Familiarity with renovation projects involving existing electrical infrastructure upgrades or modifications.
  • Additional skills such as experience with (if applicable), maintenance person tasks, frame carpentry or general construction are considered a plus.
