Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10 hour shifts

Power Labor is actively hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with mini excavator experience for an immediate-start project in Uvalde. This is a great short-term opportunity for operators ready to get to work right away, with steady hours and per diem included.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to dig trenches for underground electrical systems
• Follow site plans and grade specifications accurately
• Work safely around utilities and active jobsite conditions
• Coordinate with ground crew to ensure efficient trenching operations
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating mini excavators (trenching required)
• Ability to work safely in a construction environment, especially around utilities
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain consistent attendance
• Must be ready to start immediately
