D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Executive Assistant in the Main Office. The right candidate will be reporting to the executive team, this individual is responsible for collaborating with and supporting the executive team.  Using discretion when working with confidential information concerning the company, executive management and employees is a must.  Further, the ideal candidate will be able to self-identify other areas and functions in which they can contribute and offer to assist.



 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




  • Support executive schedule coordination with managing calendar and appointments, including meetings, conference calls and conference room arrangements for multiple executives

  • Coordinate travel arrangements

  • Handling executive department phone calls and mail as a well-coordinated team with the other Executive Assistants

  • Maintain information flow and filing for executive team

  • Assist with internal meeting and event coordination

  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company


 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Experience




  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

  • Four to six years of related experience and/or training

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discrete manner

  • Ability to organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls

  • Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff in addition to external companies and vendors

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with the latest computer technology, particularly Microsoft Office



 



Preferred Qualifications




  • Meeting planning experience preferred
