Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Inspector General in Helena. The Facility Inspector 1 position is responsible for the overall licensing for mental health facilities, youth care facilities, community homes for persons with developmental disabilities and physical disabilities, chemical dependency facilities, private residential and outdoor programs, and various health care facilities. This position conducts inspections often unannounced to assess the care provided to determine compliance with State and Federal requirements. Other duties include recommending licensing action, monitoring facilities that have difficulty meeting minimum compliance requirements for licensure. This position also investigates allegations made of non-compliance on facilities. This position will provide technical assistance and training to licensed facilities.
