Job Description
As a Financial Analyst working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for working with Finance departmental leaders on Division's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Assist in overseeing all financial functions. Will assist in creating functional strategies and specific objectives for the departments and develop budgets/policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

We trust that as a Financial Analyst you will: (responsibilities)

Prepare standing monthly and quarterly reports detailing financial performance and key performance indicators
Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts through adjusting budget assumptions after analyzing variances and presenting recommendations for approval as well as documenting changes between forecasts
Perform standard reconciliations between general ledger and loan origination system to identify, document, and resolve variances
Assist with Power Point presentations by creating slides based on management intent
Prepare monthly board report on financial performance and coordinator with functional heads to include department highlights.
Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts through adjusting budget assumptions after analyzing variances and presenting recommendations for approval as well as documenting changes between forecasts
Compile and submit financial and non-financial data requests from approved outside third parties
Validate financial data submitted to management for accuracy and completeness
You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

2+ years financial/accounting experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Extensive experience with Excel
Experience with budget software a plus
Credit report in good standing

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

Physical Demands:

Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
