McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a
2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Operator Supervisor for our compost manufacturing facility. Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

The RoleAs a
2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Operator Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Heavy Equipment Operators and Utility Technicians while overseeing daily production activities across the site.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll manage workflow, support safety initiatives, coach employees, monitor production goals, and operate equipment when needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Qualifications - 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead, Foreman, Crew Lead, Shift Lead, etc.)
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment experience in manufacturing, recycling, agriculture, construction, material handling, or industrial operations
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and equipment operation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Experience coaching and developing employees
Preferred - OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with composting, recycling, agriculture, or material handling operations
- Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or screening equipment
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
Physical Requirements - Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and working on uneven terrain
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
- Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary
- Comfortable working around dust, noise, moving machinery, mud, odors, and industrial operating conditions
