Background in machine maintenance and good with some travel Check out this position

Our client, a leader in Industrial Safety Compliance is looking to add an Industrial Safety Equipment Surveyor to their team! This position will start out being trained here locally and after a period of time, will be travelling about two weeks out of the month. Travel will be M - F, across the entire US. You will essentially be surveying industrial equipment and documenting energy sources. Great opportunity for someone with a background as a machine maintenance supervisor who understands the travel aspect of the role!

The right candidate will have:

• Experience in industrial and manufacturing equipment including electrical, fluid and mechanical systems, machine tool, automation systems and more.
• Ability to work independently, strong problem solving, talk with various levels in the shop environment, and overall coordination of travel and work assignments based on need (non-emergency situation related)
• Strong communication skills regarding project status, concerns and other issues
• Strong understanding of OHSA and other safety requirements in an industrial environment
• Must be able to travel about 50% of the time. Domestic mostly, flying out Monday, returning Friday. Some projects may take weeks to complete, but you'll be home on the weekends!
• Ability to work unlimited OT while traveling.
