D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Loan Product Specialist II. The right candidate will serve as a loan product helpdesk, manage assigned investor relationships and lead teams to launch new loan product offerings.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Serve as a product helpdesk

  • Research new products and investors

  • Oversee new investor approval as well as new product and investor roll-outs

  • Create loan product codes and identify closing documents and add them to Loan Origination Software (LOS)

  • Complete assigned agency/investor re-certifications

  • Maintain a company-wide product database

  • Oversee orientation training for new Mortgage Loan Originators and processors

  • Notify company of agency guideline changes

  • Train new members of the Loan Product Department

  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Ability to occasionally travel overnight


 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Experience



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Three to five years of mortgage industry experience in a production or related role

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
