Job Description

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure timelines and financial objectives are achieved. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure the quality of work. Resolve any on-site issues, including unforeseen challenges or conflicts, with a proactive approach. Communicate project updates and progress to project managers and other stakeholders regularly. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, logs, and inspection records.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent
  • Experience with ground up construction projects is required
  • Experience with commercial projects is required, with a preference for healthcare and industrial experience
  • A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • A focus on delivering high-quality results while staying on schedule.
