Maintenance Coordinator

Full Time: 40 hours/week

Salary: Compensation is commensurate with experience.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM, overtime as needed

Reports to: Maintenance Manager


Job Description

Levco Management is a quickly-growing, leading operator of multifamily communities throughout Virginia. The Maintenance Coordinator works closely with vendors, contractors, maintenance personnel, and leadership on all maintenance initiatives while providing leadership and direction to the maintenance staff.


Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of multifamily maintenance/office experience.
  • Results oriented with the ability assign and complete work orders within Yardi software, schedule preventative maintenance programs, schedule and manage contractors, and other maintenance projects.
  • Experience with Yardi preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with a knack for technology.
  • Demonstrates strong team building and strategic thinking skills.
  • Must always possess a positive attitude.
  • Must have excellent communication, organization, management, and people skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and monitor all work order requests received and communicate with the maintenance team, residents, vendors, and property management staff.
  • Proactively organize and assign work orders to the appropriate employee or contractor.
  • Daily reporting of work order status updates.
  • Confirm completion of the work order by documenting evidence of completion.
  • Research and resolve work order related discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Extensive use of telephone, computer systems. and other general office equipment.
  • Must be able to schedule out apartment turns with various contractors/employees and inspect work upon completion.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
