Responsible for the input and review of payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors checking that all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data required into custom ERP system.
  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions and addresses.
  • Input for payment all training and orientation hours with the correct project cost coding and labor classifications.
  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions and addresses.
  • Prepare and submit wage garnishments and child support payments.
  • Provide reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions leave, disability and nontaxable wages.
  • Prepare and analyze standardized reports of various types for missing or inaccurate information regarding labor hours and classifications.
  • Prepare and submit Certified Payroll reports.
  • Scan and copy documents when needed.
  • Assist in the documentation of the payroll process and procedures.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping all information confidential.
  • Assist with all employee correspondence to help resolve errors in a timely manner.
  • Report to the supervisor on unresolved payroll issues and changes


Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent (GED) is required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in a accounting, business related major, or equivalent is desired.
  • 1 to 3 years of payroll experience is required.
  • Construction industry experience is desired.
