About The Company:


Our client is a fifth-generation construction icon. We are seeking a President to continue the fast-paced growth of our concrete self-performance and general contracting division that specializes in large scale heavy concrete construction projects such as water/wastewater, dams and commercial site work applications.


About the Position:


As President you will have full autonomy to develop the team and grow the business unit. We have a tested group of experienced professionals from business development to preconstruction and capable field management as well as a strong labor force . We also have significant additional resources and are ready to invest. We seek the right leadership to carefully grow us from our current 45-million-dollar level to 100 million and beyond. The market demand is there, a strong foundation is in place and you will be fully supported to ad to the team and adjust our operations and approach where needed.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage operational activities with autonomy.

  • Lead and shape a growing general contractor by developing our culture of growth.

  • Manage all components of risk management including safety, and labor.

  • Ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Align operational goals with the company’s strategic growth objectives.

  • Work with the BD and preconstruction teams on proposal development and make client presentations.

  • Manage and take full responsibility for P&L.



Requirements:



  • 15+ years in operations management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing key elements of a growing construction company.

  • Proven track record in scaling growth and operations and driving operational excellence.

  • Strong understanding of self-performance labor and related safety and QC elements.

  • Experience in P&L management.

  • Involvement in the development and presentation of project proposals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
