Responsibilities:

Technical: Means/Methods:

  • Prepares monthly updates to CPM schedule and prepares associated schedule narrative for submission to the project Client in accordance with contract documents.
  • Gathers as-built schedule data from project team on a weekly basis and provides updated look ahead schedules to project team.
  • Prepares schedule impact analyses to support change orders or other requests for contract time extensions
  • Analyzes project problems and recommends corrective action that has the least impact to cost and schedule.
  • Utilizes project management systems to track adherence to contract requirements, including but not limited to submittal tracking, communication documentation, requests for information, plan revisions, and notice requirements.

Safety:

  • Supports and enforces the Allan Myers Safety Program including the coordination of project activities to ensure compliance with all government regulatory guidelines and agencies



Qualifications:
  • High Level understanding of Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Ability to Schedule Heavy Civil, Highway Infrastructure Projects, utilizing Primavera P6 Software
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent. Continuing education in construction and project controls is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience in estimating, operations and/or engineering required
  • AACE International Planning & Scheduling Professional certification desirable
  • Valid drivers license required

Physical Demands:

Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk, use hands/fingers and hear. Occasionally requires the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Occasionally requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Requires following specific types of vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Exposure to the following environmental conditions: moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration. Typical work environment is moderate noise level.
