Job Description

Looking for a personable and experienced Site Foreman to lead the team on our projects, while fulfilling one of the skilled trade roles needed on site. You will be the point of contact for both workers and supervisors and you will be a key person for the projects success.

You must be well-organized and ensure that safety is an on site priority. Physical requirements are:

• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods;

• Stoop, kneel, or crouch;

• Talk, hear, see, read and write;

• Use your hands and fingers to handle, feel or move objects, tools or controls;

• Use a smartphone; tablet or other device

• Use first aid equipment, a fire extinguisher and power and hand tools;

• Lift, move and carry objects up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work and report directly to the Project Manager:

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans;

• Monitor the attendance of crew;

• Plan and deligate general and daily responsibilities;

• Supervise workers and subcontractors;

• Site safety precautions are met;

• Resolve problems when they arise;

• Report on progress to Project Manager

• You are available and eligible to start full time employment in the U.S.

Experience

• 5+ years experience in high-end home renovation in Brownstones or High-End Co-ops and Condos

• Prior experience as Site Foreman and / or Carpenter

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines

• General understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to read drawings and plans

• Good physical condition and stamina

• OSHA 30 and / or SST 42 Worker Card / SST 62 Supervisor Card
