REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Security Clearance: Must be eligible for or hold an active security clearance

- 2+ yrs recent, relevant experience on submarines or naval or commercial ship repair experience, or equivalent experience in a heavy industrial environment performing the Typical Trade Task identified.

Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs,

•Be able to climb ladders and maneuver within small spaces inside submarines

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking highly skilled Pipefitters to work onsite in Kings Bay, GA performing the following tasks:

- Cut existing and new piping joints
- End prep existing and new piping joints
- Fit -up existing and new piping joints
- Complete required documents and QA forms
- Disassemble mechanical joints
- Inspect mechanical joints
- Assemble mechanical joint
- Install test gear and test pumps for testing
- Inspect piping to certify systems
- Troubleshoot and test ship's components
- Communicate safe execution of test
- Restore system to normal ship's condition
