The Opportunity
Are you passionate about working in a safety-first, collaborative environment with hands-on electrical experience? Mortenson is seeking dedicated Electrical Apprentices who are eager to learn and grow within our company. In this role, you will have the chance to work on some of the most innovative and impactful projects in industries such as renewable energy, healthcare, and data centers.

As an Electrical Apprentice at Mortenson, you’ll receive top-tier on-the-job training while working closely with experienced Journeymen. Your contributions will help power some of the largest and most exciting construction projects across the country. If you're committed to excellence, safety, and personal growth, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various hand tools.


• Safely operate hand and power tools after proper training (e.g., drills, crimpers, cutters).


• Lift, position, and fasten objects securely.


• Prepare and handle materials and tools to be used by electrical trades.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment.


• Work under close supervision, following standard instructions and established procedures.


• Effectively collaborate and build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.


• Pull DC and MV wire as required.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior electrical experience preferred.
Enrollment or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship preferred.
Current driver's license.
