Structural Ironworker / Construction Technician

LS4 Structural LLC is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our growing team as Structural Ironworkers / Construction Technicians. We specialize in petroleum canopy construction, structural steel repairs, heavy-gauge sheet metal framing, rebranding, emergency repairs, and commercial maintenance throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and the surrounding region.

Whether you're an experienced ironworker or someone looking to expand your construction skills, you'll be part of a team that performs every aspect of canopy construction-from demolition and material handling to structural steel installation, welding support, and finish work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural steel erection, repairs, and modifications.
  • Install heavy-gauge sheet metal framing, decking, gutters, fascia systems, and architectural metal components.
  • Assist with demolition, removal, and installation of petroleum canopy systems.
  • Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
  • Load, unload, organize, and stage materials and equipment.
  • Read tape measures, construction drawings, and field layouts.
  • Assist with welding, fitting, rigging, and steel fabrication.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
  • Travel to project sites throughout the Northeast as required.
  • Perform other construction duties as assigned to support the crew and project schedule.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Construction, structural steel, sheet metal, welding, or ironworker experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred but not required.
