Northwest Excavating Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Superintendent with “substantial” managerial experience – especially with dry utilities. The Superintendent position works a full-time schedule, 5:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime/nightwork) and earns a competitive annual salary of between $100k and $115k - with an annual bonus equaling $50k per year average (more info upon inquiry). The ideal candidate is responsible for reporting to the office/yard in the morning and finishing off day managing various crews to aid daily operations at the designated job site.

• Valid Driver's License


• “Substantial” experience as Superintendent – especially with dry utilities


• Excellent time management


• Demonstrate proficiency in reading Underground Utility plans and specifications.


• Knowledge of local jurisdiction specifications


• Live within Los Angeles/Ventura County


• Experience working on smartphones, tablets & Emails.


• Ability to work with numerous contractors and subcontractors in an efficient manner.


• OSHA certifications are a plus.


• Ability to pass a drug screening.


• US work authorization


• Fluent in English


• Though rare - be prepared to work nights.


• Take a Predictive Index for behavioral and cognitive assessments.
