About the Position:


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Superintendent for Underground Utilities to join our client's team in Milwaukee, WI. The General Superintendent will oversee field operations for stormwater and water main systems, including lift stations, box culverts, and other related structures. This role requires strong leadership to coordinate labor, scheduling for field employees, subcontractors, and material deliveries. Ensuring safety and sound financial stewardship are paramount. The General Superintendent will serve as a liaison between vendors, subcontractors, clients, and company personnel, and will lead a team of Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee field operations for stormwater and water main systems, including lift stations and box culverts.

  • Coordinate labor, scheduling for field employees, subcontractors, and material deliveries.

  • Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

  • Manage financial aspects of field operations to ensure projects are completed within budget.

  • Serve as a liaison between vendors, subcontractors, clients, and company personnel.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Superintendents, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction.

  • Comprehensive OSHA and safety training, with the ability to analyze and interpret blueprints, plans, and policies.

  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
