Duties
Install photovoltaic systems on residential, commercial, and industrial rooftops and ground-mounted sites following electrical blueprints and schematics
Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues within solar power systems, ensuring optimal performance
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for system installation and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment safely to complete installations efficiently
Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70E safety procedures for electrical safety
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system upgrades to maximize system longevity and efficiency
Collaborate with construction teams on site setup, roofing considerations, fixture installation, and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements
Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical work including high voltage and low voltage systems
Hands-on experience working as a solar technician or in renewable energy projects involving photovoltaic system installation
Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E standards, and electrical blueprint reading skills
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools and techniques
Familiarity with construction site procedures, roofing work, fixture installation, and outdoor work environments
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and construction safety practices
Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems design, wiring practices, and electrical safety procedures
Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for system setup or repairs
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues
SOLAR EDGE SYSTEMS A MUST
Bilingual a plus.
