TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Welding Foreman for a machine shop in the Wharton, TX area. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced welder/fabricator who can lead a team while also working directly on the shop floor.

The Welding Foreman will be responsible for supervising daily welding and fabrication operations, coordinating production workflow, and ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications. Candidates must have at least 7 years of welding and fabrication experience with strong hands-on skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, laying out and fitting fabrication projects, performing welding work, overseeing projects from start to final inspection, and working closely with machinists on precision fabrication jobs. This role will also train and mentor welding team members, assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and help maintain a safe and organized machine shop environment.

Previous lead or supervisory experience is required. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to hold team members accountable while supporting quality production. AWS certification is a plus.
