DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the Contracting Services Unit, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team performing Administrative Analyst duties to administer the solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Qualification), selection, and contract award process.
You will analyze, prepare, and develop solicitations, contracts, and specifications; monitor project plans, tasks, work breakdown structures, cost estimates, budgets, schedule performance, deliverables, and resources; while performing and monitoring bids, reviewing corresponding documents, and generating reports. Your ability to effectively organize, analyze, and clearly communicate information is crucial to your success in this position.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years relevant experience; or four years as a MWD Administrative Assistant III.
Relevant Experience is defined as: demonstrated experience conducting contract management; such as agreement administration duties that include generating requisitions, creating releases against blanket orders, or managing invoice process.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
