WSP USA is currently looking for an Area Manager for the Arizona operation. 
 The Area Manager will lead and expand all markets in transportation and infrastructure, support diversification and growth, drive strategic direction, and lead the operation for financial and staffing growth. 
The selected candidate will work collaboratively with the other regional Area Managers in growing the WSP presence throughout Arizona and the Region.  In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Business Manager, Regional Business Development Director, Regional Operations Manager, Regional Project Operations Manager, the various Americas Technical Excellence Centers (ATECs), and the Regional TEC Managers to support the strategic direction of the Texas Mountain Region of WSP USA.
Stimulating client success is one of WSP USA’s driving tenets. With a long history in Arizona, WSP has engaged in projects such as I-10/SR202L Santan TI, I-17 & SR303L Management Consultant, PMCM for Valley Metro and Tucson to Phoenix Passenger Rail Corridor Study. Currently, WSP serves as Design Engineer for the P3 SR202L, South Mountain Freeway and I-10 Ruthrauff Rd TI and GEC for both the I-10 Broadway Curve and SR101L, I-17 to Pima Rd/Princess Dr. Having played a key role in delivering some of the iconic projects in Arizona, WSP continues to build and foster relationships, and actively position for some of the most significant projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Establish and maintain strong client relationships with new and existing clients in the area
•Maintain a strong focus on business development and marketing for both new and existing clients
•Drive performance of the business, strategically grow our market share and become a preferred provider to our clients.
•Be a recognized leader in the local community
•Work with other TX/Mountain Region Area Managers in balancing work-load in business development opportunities
•Work collaboratively with the PMCM and Advisory service sectors to provide the full range of services to local clients
•Address and resolve conflict and other internal/external issues that may arise in the office, amongst the client base, or on projects
•Coordinate efforts with our Human Resources group, strategically driving the business, managing project performance, overseeing overhead expenditures, and managing the financial metrics involved with running the business.

<div>Minimum Qualifications:</div> <div class="O0">•15 or more years of experience in the Transportation Industry, focusing on a combination of the following: Business and Operations Management, Business Development, Project Management, Program Management.</div> <div class="O0">•A BS or BA Degree in a relevant field.</div> <div class="O0">•Demonstrated balanced, solid management/leadership skills, including the ability to lead and develop staff.</div> <div class="O0">•Strongly established relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the Texas market.</div> <div class="O0">•Demonstrated and sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice.</div> <div class="O0">•Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.</div> <div class="O0">•Good writing, verbal, and presentation skills.</div> <div class="O0">•The ability to travel occasionally.</div> <div class="O0">•The ability to work in the United States immediately.</div> <div class="O0">•Preference given to local candidates. </div> <div> </div> <div>About WSP USA</div> <div> </div> <div>WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
