*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an*_Assistant Closing Manager_*for their Closing Department. The right candidate will support Closing Manager by managing and training department Closing Coordinators, while ensuring policies are followed.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Manage and supervise the Closing Coordinators, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
* Review and approve Terms to Title, including clearing contract deficiencies
* Review and approve estimated settlement statements for Division signature
* Review and approve final settlement statements for Accounting
* Track and report status of all closings within the current to Region CFO
* Manage daily closing pipeline report
* Provide support to Divisions on all contract documents and DHI Sales training as necessary, including assistance to help resolve customer concerns
* Responsible for reviewing the accuracy and clarity of contract documents under the supervision of Region Legal to ensure all contract documents remain in compliance before being uploaded to DHIS
* Supervise the preparation and distribution of non-performance letters
* Back-up for Manager when on vacation
* Assign files and workload
* Monitor pipeline reports
* Track and report Terminations, including follow up with Title to ensure deposits are disbursed accordingly
* Assist with problem solving
* Assist with post-closing outstanding issues
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
* Regular and relaible attendance which includes overtime as necessary, including weekends
* Additional duties as assigned

*Supervisory Responsibilities*
Directly supervises 2 or more employees in the branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
















*Education and/or Experience / /*

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
