Summary:

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Associate Customer Services Project Manager with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills are vital, with attention to detail equally important.  The Customer Services Manager will manage service contracts and purchase orders from conception through executions on many small to large projects at once, including safety oversight, estimating approval, quality adherence, etc. Develop and grow customer relationships and strive for the exceptional customer experience.

Looking for an innovative leader that will be focused on the repowering industry.  Whether it be repowering by modifying the existing turbines or decommissioning and installing new technology, working with asset owners and turbine OEMs on strategy to support their repowering initiatives.  Additionally, develop internal strategies to differentiate Mortenson and provide solutions to our customers in the repowering industry.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operations and maintenance of service contracts including:
  • Financial outlook
  • Safety
  • Environmental impact
  • Risk
  • Schedule
  • Quality
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators associated with the contracts
  • Maintain, establish, and grow key customer relationships
  • Conduct customer and site visits as needed to establish appropriate strategies and ensure expectations are being met
  • Review and prepare all proposals as necessary
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
  • Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
  • All other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Graduate degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum three years experience in related customer service field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • High level of creativity to grow the business
  • Up to 50% travel
