BLUvera, Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate, utilizes advanced design, engineering, 3D modeling, and manufacturing to deliver a safer, faster, and more predictable experience to the built environment. By utilizing DfMA principles (design for manufacturing and assembly), BLUvera leverages technology in the manufacture and fabrication of off-site construction products- enabling our customers to realize the schedule and cost savings that the industrialized process creates. The Big Picture:

BLUvera is looking for the ideal candidate to lead the construction products assembly and manufacturing production department.

The Production Manager is accountable for accomplishing all plant objectives in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, and cost through efficient and effective operations of the production group. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will be the frontline day to day leader in the plant. Therefore, the successful candidate will have a combination of previous hands-on and leadership roles.

_____________________________________________________________________________________ KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Manage the overall financial health of projects, including subcontracts and suppliers

*Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
*Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system
*Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions
*Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
*Create monthly owner billings
*Maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
*Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts

Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)


*Provide job assignments and facilitate career development
*Approve time cards for on-site team members
*Provide ongoing feedback of work performance

Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative


*Assist with the review of the owner agreement
*Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative
*Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities

Execute change orders


*Determine when to submit to the owner or on-site representatives
*Obtain the customer/architect's approval

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance

Other duties as assigned, including:


*Maintain schedule and budget until project completion
*Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

*Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects
*Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
*Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
*Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
*Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
*Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
*Ability to travel overnight up to 100%

__________________________________________________________________________________________ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


*Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
*Minimum six years of construction management or related experience
*Current driver's license ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the following with or without an accommodation; sitting, walking, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, hearing, visual acuity, and utilization of a computer and office equipment. This person must be physically capable of reviewing a jobsite multiple times daily. The working environments consist of exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and outdoor weather; as well as indoor and climate-controlled settings.
