*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an _*Branch Operations ManagerTitle Plant*_. The right candidate will work under the direction and supervision of the National Plant Production Manager and assist with the effective operation of personnel, equipment, and other resources necessary to perform the efficient examination functions in the plant.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Maintain knowledge and the ability to perform all tasks of all personnel under his/her supervision
* Examine and direct the examination of a variety of complex title orders involving the issuance of leaseholds and extended owners, lenders, optionees, subdivision reports and litigation guarantees, and other highly involved property interests characterized by pressing and changing requirements
* Support and communicate with branch offices and answer questions and/or requests in a timely manner
* Direct the activities of assigned title examiners in the preparation of all preliminary reports for issuance of a single policy
* Reconcile conclusions of title examinations with extensive and unusual customer requirements such as, an extended coverage order requiring the elimination or insurance of exceptions not insured in the standard policy
* Advise other title examiners and title department personnel regarding searching, examining and policy procedures and the insurability of complex and unusual orders
* Work with underwriters to insure titles within the scope of their policies and procedures
* Support and follow all company initiatives and procedures
* Encourage employee development and professional growth by providing regular and timely feedback
* Maintain an organized office atmosphere
* Participate in company sponsored seminars, meetings and training
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

*Supervisory Responsibilities*

Directly manages two or more employees in the Title Plant Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.




*Education and/or Experience*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Six to ten years related experience and/or training
* Knowledge in real estate financing and conveyance transactions
* Experience working with title insurance requirements, policies, endorsements, legal descriptions and underwriting procedures
* Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Bachelors degree in Business Management or related field preferred
* Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
