WSP is currently initiating a search for a BRT Planner Engineer for our Seattle office.  This position reports to the Manager of the Fleet & Facilities Division, within WSP’s Transit & Rail Technical Excellence Center.  The selected individual will be responsible for providing Full Time managerial, and technical expertise for WSP’s BRT practice.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Prepare plans, studies, and/or engineering designs including drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Direct supporting staff of junior engineers and CADD operators
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to overcome unique project challenges
  • Provide field engineering support and respond to construction contractor questions for projects in construction
  • Review submittals and prepare detailed descriptions of review findings. Participate in review meetings and technical working sessions
  • Perform billable work and other tasks as assigned and best fits training and ability

Requirements
