Bristol Design Build Services, LLC is seeking a Carpenter in our Golden, CO location. The Carpenter supports client needs by performing manual labor in support of projects.

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor including operating small hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform heavy labor such as carrying and lifting materials and other activities.
  • Promote safe work practices and adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures for work performed, including proper hazard recognition and mitigation of task.
  • Demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures and accept accountability for safe work practices.
  • Routinely perform safety and productivity observations; shop, field, and vehicle inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record. 3-5 Years of relative experience desired.

Required Knowledge or Skills

  • Ability to work well with others in an environment that includes harsh weather conditions, diversified personalities. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow workers.
  • Ability to clearly speak, write, read and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow Bristol client safety programs and regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a rapport and strong working relationship with co-workers.
  • Ability to relate to and work with personnel in all levels of an organization required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
  • Position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and wastes.
  • Must be a team player, willing to assist other craft persons as necessary to get the job done.

Preferred Knowledge or Skills

  • OSHA 30.
  • Craft certifications.
  • First AID/AED certification.
