WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Contract Support Specialist (FDOT District 5)  based out our Orlando, Florida  office.

CEI Contract Support Specialist - Duties are to perform progress reports, generate monthly estimates, document project quantities, process supplemental agreements and change orders. Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly progress and final estimate packages
  • Project documentation control
  • MAC input and review
  • Shop drawing and submittal tracking
  • Construction and consultant contract administration
  • Supplemental agreement and work order preparation
  • Claims analysis, critical path method (CPM) schedule reviews, final estimate preparation, as well as engineer’s estimate preparation for negotiation purposes

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Engineering and five (5) years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project related duties or a Civil Engineering Degree
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Familiar with FDOT systems and procedures; MAC, Hummingbird, ProjectSolve
  • Familiar with Equipment Watch software and interpretation of
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FDOT experience
  • Construction experience in a CEI environment
