WSP is currently initiating a search for an Civil Engineering Intern for our Cleveland, Ohio office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities include assisting experienced engineers with:
•Perform basic civil/highway/track/drainage design tasks including design calculations, quantity take-offs for cost estimates, site visits to confirm field conditions, and preparation of technical reports
•Work on various types and sizes of projects ranging from conceptual/planning studies, reports, and permit applications to preparation of plans, specifications, quantity calculations and cost estimates (PS&E) bid packages to construction documents for alternative design projects
•Assist in preparing design drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) software
•Coordinate with other design disciplines, including structures, hydraulics/drainage, traffic, electrical, utilities, right of way
•Ensure that production of specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
•Collaboration within project teams and mentor-protégé relationships with senior staff to help develop your career

Requirements
