Responsibilities:

  • Perform literature review, case studies and program evaluation for the purposes of advancing behavioral science related to all aspects of insider threat and improving internal processes for insider threat protection.
  • Collaborate with other behavioral science, intelligence, and insider threat professionals and contribute to interagency events within the U.S. Government and Intelligence Community (IC), forensics, intelligence, Insider Threat, law enforcement, security and CI communities.
  • Conduct psychological assessment, direct and indirect.
  • Administration and interpretation of a wide-range of psychological tests (to include cognitive and personality measures).
  • Effective interviewing skills, Violence/self-harm risk assessment skills, and Forensic assessment skills
  • High quality psychological report writing that includes useful recommendations
  • Superior customer services skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Timely completion of documentation in a manner consistent with professional standards
  • Delivers tailored informational and technical trainings, briefings and workshops
  • Behavioral science training, organizational needs assessment, and management consultation
  • Effectively liaison with external agencies
  • Ability to travel to remote sites to provide services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI
  • Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology through an American Psychological Association Accredited (APA) Program required.
  • Possess a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience.
  • Possess a full, current and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the United States (including United States Territories) and/or be a duly qualified licensed mental health provider.
  • Maintain professional licensure through continuing education units (CEUs).
  • Experience in providing psychological consultation within an intelligence community setting with a focus on psychological support to:
    • Personnel security adjudications, investigations and continuous evaluation; insider threat/ threat management case referral and disposition
    • Insider threat detection methodologies collaboration with modelers, and research methodology
    • Counterintelligence inquiries, investigations and operations
    • Personnel assessment and selection for specialized assignments

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI clearance.
